Partner Josh Tomsheck is a member of the National College for DUI Defense.  Josh is one (1) of only eleven (11) members in all of Las Vegas to be a member of this organization, which is a professional, non-profit corporation dedicated to the improvement of the criminal defense bar, and to the dissemination of information to the public about DUI Defense Law as a specialty area of law practice. The college is widely recognized as the top organization in the United States dedicated to the training of DUI lawyers.  Attorney Tomsheck has attended and participated in exhaustive training in the area of DUI defense and has been trained by elite DUI Lawyers from all over the United States. 

Mr. Tomsheck is also a member of the Nationally known DUI Defense Lawyers Association.  Josh is one (1) of only five (5) lawyers State wide (3 in Southern Nevada) to be part of this elite organization which is committed to the education and training of DUI defense lawyers in the science and practice of DUI defense.   

Josh is a Nationally Board Certified Specialist in Criminal Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, one (1) of three (3) in the entire State of Nevada. Mr. Tomsheck is currently only one (1) of two (2) attorneys state wide registered with the State Bar of Nevada as a specialist in Criminal Trial law.

 Josh is a former Chief Deputy District Attorney, where he was assigned to the Major Violators Unit of the Clark County (Las Vegas) D.A.'s Office, specializing in violent felonies involving firearms. He has argued cases all over Nevada, including appearing and arguing successfully numerous times before the Nevada Supreme Court.

Josh's experience includes serving as the lead trial attorney in the most serious of cases, including Capital Murder, Murder, Attempted Murder, Kidnapping, Robbery, Drug Charges including Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Habitual Criminal and Gun Crimes. Josh has also litigated, and taken to trial, dozens of cases involving drunk driving or domestic battery charges.  Of the more than 150 jury and bench trials Josh has tried to verdict, his success rate is over 95%.

 Josh's cases are often high profile as he has represented individuals in the legal community, members of law enforcement, business executives and professionals and professional athletes in cases where they have been unfortunate enough to wind up on the wrong side of the criminal justice system if DUI related cases.  Many of Attorney Tomsheck's cases have been featured in print media and he has appeared many times on local and national television including “48 Hours Mystery” and gavel to gavel trial coverage on “InSession” (formerly CourtTV).  Josh's trials have been featured on episodes of numerous nationally televised programs such as "Murder Among Friends," "Deadly Sins Breaking Point," and "Las Vegas Law" on the Investigation Discovery channel.  Josh has been interviewed live numerous times on local and national television regarding criminal cases he has tried successfully to a jury.  Josh is the former co-host of “Asked & Answered” a live call in radio show locally in Las Vegas on KXNT / CBS radio.
